Stanstead Abbotts to Little Venice

We leave our moorings at Stanstead Abbotts on the River Lee and arrive at Little Venice, where we enjoy the weekend at the Inland Waterways Association Canalway Cavalcade Festival. This has been held here, at the junction of the Grand Union and Regent's Canal, annually since 1983.

We wait while we set up Stanstead Lock

Another boat joins us in the locks on the first part of our journey

First day and already lots of nature to enjoy!

We moor overnight at the Navigation pub!

We arrive at the first lock on the Hertford Union Canal

Two other boats from our moorings are cruising just ahead of us

Narrowboat Scotch Corner joins us for the rest of the journey to Little Venice

Scotch Corner was not suppose to be at this angle but it made a good picture!

We pass Camden Market

We are in the lock adjacent to the market

We arrive at Little Venice

Part of Scotch Corner's crew

Over 100 boats are in attendance

Some historic boats are here

Traffic jam!!

The theme of the boat parade competition was London!

Brilliant!!!!!!

There was also a 'Lighted Boats' competition
