Peterborough to Wellingborough

We arrived at Fotherinhay on Monday 14 July and moored there overnight

We stop to have a look around Oundle

We arrived at the Kings Head Mooring in Wadenhoe on Tuesday 15 July and moored there overnight

We enjoyed a super meal there!

The village is a conservation area

The circular building is a Dovecote.
Nearly 200 years ago this stone building would have housed around 650 pigeons and their squabs in its lath and plaster nesting boxes.

After a short cruise on Wednesday 16 July we moored at Thrapston

We relaxed before...

.... having a BBQ

We set off the next morning

Nice paint job!

We arrived at Wellingborough on Thursday 17 July, where we stayed overnight
Opposite was Whitworth Bros. Ltd. Flour Mill.
They are an independent specialist millers that were established in 1886

Drinks are served!
